Zhongheng Coal Mine

Guizhou Zisenyuan Group Investment Co., Ltd. Panzhou Zhongheng Coal Mine is the main coal mine under Guizhou Zisenyuan Group Investment Co., Ltd., located in the Zhongsha Neighborhood Committee of Hongguo Street Office in Panzhou City.

The mining area has convenient transportation, with the Panxi branch railway running through the north and south of the mine. There are three highways passing through the mining area: Zhensheng Expressway, Dahua Highway, and Shahong Highway. The mining area is 6 kilometers away from the central urban area of Panzhou, 2 kilometers away from Shatuo Railway Station, 5 kilometers away from Hongguo Railway Station, 20 kilometers away from Panzhou High speed Railway Station, and 30 kilometers away from the soon to be built Panzhou Guanshan Airport.

The well field is located in the middle section of the western wing of the Panguan syncline, belonging to the southern half of the paper mill well field. The well field covers an area of 2.9077 square kilometers and is shaped like an irregular polygon with a length of 3.015 km and a width of 0.68-1.23 km. There are 9 coal seams in the mine, with an average thickness of 2.12 meters. The industrial reserves are 54.19 million tons, and the recoverable reserves are 37.69 million tons (referring to data up to+1850~1200 meters).

The coal mine was established in 1992 with an original production scale of 60000 tons per year. It has undergone technological upgrades and capacity expansion to 150000 tons per year, 210000 tons per year, and 450000 tons per year. With the requirements of national industrial policies, the scale of technological upgrades and capacity expansion from 450000 tons per year to 900000 tons per year in 2008, the coal mine adopts comprehensive mining and fully mechanized mining, and fully realizes mechanized coal mining. Obtained relevant certificates and licenses in July 2013, with Fan Bin as the legal representative of the coal mine.

The coal mine management organization is sound, with the establishment of coal mine party branches and trade unions, as well as the establishment of corresponding supporting departments and specialized mine rescue teams. According to regulations, allocate full-time "five positions" mine managers, professional engineering and technical personnel in mining, excavation, machinery, transportation, communication, and surveying, as well as special operation personnel.

Mine area 2 9077km2, the coal bearing strata are the Longtan Formation (P3l) of the Upper Permian, consisting of silty mudstone, argillaceous sandstone, siltstone, fine sandstone, mudstone, and coal seams. The entire formation is 194-245m thick, with an average of 224m. The Longtan Formation contains 28-49 layers of coal, with a general coal content of 38 layers. The total coal thickness is 24.7-42.04m, with an average total coal thickness of 33.63m. The coal content coefficient is 12.8-17.2%, with an average coal content coefficient of 15%. According to the sedimentation sequence of coal seams and the spacing between each coal seam, the coal seams in this mining area are divided into three coal groups: lower, middle, and upper. There are 12 coal seams that can be mined and partially mined within the scope of this mine, with an average total thickness of 15.18m.

Coal mines should achieve scientific planning and sustainable and stable development. In order to improve the deep processing of coal, a coal washing plant with an annual washing capacity of 1.5 million tons was built in the coal mine in 2011 and has been operating normally, providing guarantee for the washing of coal mines. In order to improve and enrich the leisure cultural life of employees, the coal mine has built a 15 acre employee leisure community, which includes facilities such as employee dormitories, basketball courts, bathhouses, libraries, and entertainment rooms.

Since the self construction and operation of coal mines, the safety technology and equipment of mines have been improved year by year, and the disaster prevention and resistance capabilities of mines have been continuously enhanced. At present, a relatively complete mine ventilation system, gas drainage system, safety monitoring system, power supply system, drainage system, electronic automatic attendance system for underground workers, and safety avoidance system have been established. There are four 600KW and two 700KW gas power plants, which not only provide important technical measures for safety production but also create economic benefits. At present, Zhongheng Coal Mine is moving towards a new round of strategic goals of high production and efficiency, and achieving sustainable development of the mine in accordance with the development plan of mine technological transformation.

The construction of enterprise culture has also achieved fruitful results.
