Chaoyang Coal Industry Co., Ltd. is located in Huale Village, Huale Town, Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City, and is affiliated with Guizhou Zisenyuan Group Investment Co., Ltd. The coal mine is 35km away from Liupanshui Railway Station and 15km away from Douqing Station at the intersection of Duxiang Expressway, with convenient transportation.
The mine started construction in 2010 and was completed and put into operation in 2011. It passed the final acceptance inspection and obtained a safety production license with a production capacity of 300000 tons per year and a mining license (design capacity) of 450000 tons per year.
The mine of Chaoyang Coal Industry Co., Ltd. is a prominent mine with a mining area of 2.1366 km2 and a mining elevation of+1400 m to+1000 m. There are 7 coal seams that can be mined in the mine, which are M2 M3-1、M5、M6-1、M22、M29、M32， The average dip angle of the coal seam is 15 °, with a geological reserve of 22.04 million tons, a designed recoverable reserve of 12.243 million tons, and a service life of 19.4 years. The mine adopts inclined shaft development, central parallel ventilation, and is equipped with three shafts: main inclined shaft, auxiliary inclined shaft, and return air inclined shaft. The mining method in the area adopts a longwall retreat mining method. There is currently a level with an elevation of+1240m. The coal mine was rated as a second level safety production standardized mine in 2020.
According to the national coal industry policy, which aims to break the boundaries of regional industry ownership, use resource assets as a link, and develop coal groups through joint mergers and acquisitions, Guizhou Zisenyuan Group Investment Co., Ltd. acquired Chaoyang Coal Mine in Shuicheng District in April 2022 to expand its scale and meet the needs of market development. After the company took over, Chaoyang Coal Mine was renamed Guizhou Zisenyuan Group Chaoyang Coal Industry Co., Ltd. After the transfer of coal mine procedures and assets, a new coal mine management organization was established, and a safety leadership group led by the mine manager was formed to coordinate and deploy the implementation of safety production plans. And a safety production management implementation plan has been formulated, and various management systems for coal mines have been improved. Currently, the coal mine safety production management organization, safety management personnel, and special operation personnel are complete, and the safety production responsibilities are clear.
